Established in 1886, we are proud to have been one of the first Insurance and Real Estate providers in the city of McKeesport. Although our business has seen many different locations through the years, our sales family continues to provide our clients with the same friendly, professional, personal attention that our clients have come to expect.
First Class Knowledge and Experience...
Our reputable Insurance staff are members of the Insurance Agent and Brokers Association as well as the Professional Insurance Agents of Pennsylvania. Each staff member averages over 25 years in the insurance sales business.
Our prestigious Real Estate staff members are members of National Association of REALTORS® as well as the Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and/or the Mon Valley Board of Realtors. Many of our professional staff members have exceeded 20 years of Real Estate experience and knowledge; the majority of those years as an associate at The Realty Company.
We are your neighbors...
We know the Mon Valley area because it’s where we call home. At the Realty Company, we all have lived, worked, played and raised our own families here. We take pride in helping others call the Mon Valley their home, too.
At The Realty Company, we’re not just your Real Estate advisor; we’re your neighbors.
Selling Tip – Get Rid of Clutter!
Many people do not realize how much unnecessary items they collect until it is time to move. Get a head start on getting rid of items BEFORE you move. Not only will it make your move simpler, it will help sell your home. Consider this: if you haven't used it in over a year, you probably don't need it. Eliminating clutter allows the home buyer to see more of the space in your home and always the buyer to picture what the home will look like when it is theirs. How to get rid of clutter:
- Remove all books from bookcases.
- Pack up those knickknacks.
- Clean off everything on kitchen counters.
- Put essential items used daily in a small box that can be stored in a closet when not in use.
- Think of this process as a head-start on the packing you will eventually need to do anyway.
- Pack up seasonal clothing or items of clothing you haven’t worn in a few months. Makes closets bigger!
