Selling Tip - Make it Sparkle!

Presentation is everything! You can grab the attention of the buyer simply by keeping the house clean. When a buyer sees a dirty home it means more work for them to move in resulting in a lower buying offer. Here are ways to make that house sparkle.

  • Wash windows inside and out.
  • Rent a pressure washer and spray exterior of home.
  • Get rid of cobwebs.
  • Clean or replace old or damaged blinds.
  • Re-caulk tubs, showers and sinks.
  • Polish chrome faucets and mirrors.
  • Clean out the refrigerator.
  • Vacuum daily.
  • Dust furniture, ceiling fan blades and light fixtures.
  • Bleach dingy grout.
  • Replace worn rugs.
  • Hang up fresh matching towels in the kitchen and bath.
