Selling Tip – Pack Away Favorite Items Before House Viewing
Take down or remove any items that will not be included in the sale of the home. If you want to take window coverings, built-in appliances or fixtures with you, remove them prior to your open house. If the chandelier hanging in the dining room was given to you by your great grandmother, take it down. If a buyer never sees it, she cant imagine the house without it. Once you tell a buyer she can't have an item, she will covet it, and it could blow your deal. Pack up those items and/ or replace them.
